Without an Army the Croatians went to war in 1991 with no armored vehicles. When the Croatians suffered heavy losses in the early clashes due to lack of protection, almost simoultaneously improvised armored vehicles began to appear on the battlefield accross the country. Because of the relatively poor quality of available materials, the combat value of these vehicle were modest, but their appearance was a great boost of determination to win. In this book all the known improvised vehicles are shown, as well as the data the authors have menaged to collect over 10 years of research. Softbound, 96 pages, more than 350 photos and drawings, A4 fromat (21 x 30 cm) with complete bilingual text and captions (English and Croatian).
