The book deals with a subject thus far overlooked and is primarily intended for divers since it is prepared in the form of a guidebook. However, due to a whole series of attractive color photos and authorial pictures by Daniel Frka, it will also be interesting to numerous lovers of the sea and submarine world, as well as to readers interested in the history of seamanship and passionate collectors of pictures of wreckages of ships and planes. In addition to this, the authors wanted to complement the picture of the nameless antique wrecks, exploring their cargos and remains that have been preserved to this day under the layers of sand. As mentioned, the Secrets of the Adriatic is a book illustrated with many underwater photographs and pictures captioned with references regarding locality, cause of sinking, depth, current and visibility; but also includes the history of each wreck, the story that becomes a part of the attractive mosaic of the Adriatic’s mysteries. The Secrets of the Adriatic has been prepared in six languages - Croatian, German , Italian, English, Check and Slovenian - therefore the book is also fascinating as promotional tourist material.
